Pirates + Wall-E = AWESOME


Seriously. I am one of the coolest people ever. Why? I am so glad you asked! Let me tell you!

Ok, so my roommate is throwing a bridal shower for her cousin tomorrow at our apartment and she finally settled on a theme - PIRATE of course! She came home after work today with all of this pirate themed stuff from the dollar store, including a dart gun, little pirate swords, eye patches and more. SOOOOO she, our other roommate, and I decided to go out tonight wearing our pirate getup! BRILLIANT.

First we had to go to the store to get more decorations, so we each grab a weapon and an eye patch and head on out! We frightened quiiiite a few people. My one roommate terrified at least three little children throughout the night and actually made one cry...and all she did was smile and say hi whilewearinganeyepatchandcarryingasmallsword...LAWL.

So after we went shopping we headed out to an improve comedy show - yes, still wearing out pirate getup though two of us now had bandannas on - and it was brilliant. SO FUNNY! Loved it. Got lots of crazy stares and weird comments hahahah. People were trying to figure out why three amazingly hot girls were dressed as pirate wenches heheheh.

When the show was over it was time to head to see WALL-E!!!! WHOOTWHOOT. We went to the theater and...had a strange conversation with some annoying guys while waiting to get in...and saw Wall-E. We were very amused that we dressed up as pirates to go see a movie about a robot...LAWL. OH MAN WE ARE SO FREAKING COOL.

But yeah, enjoyed the movie quite a bit. I had kind of a hard time because they are definitely trying to get a point across -cough-savetheearthandgetoffyourfatlazybuttandstoprelyingsomuchonstupidtechnologyandenjoyearthsnature-cough- and I have a hard time with movies like that, buuuuut I think they pulled it off nicely. A lot better than HAPPY FEET -gagme- AND OMG IT WAS SO ADORABLE. Seriously, I haven't felt my heart strings tugged like that in a movie for a looooooong time. AND THEY WERE ROBOTS. They got emotions out of ROBOTS?! Amazing. As usual. 8) Id say go see it.

And now Im gonna go watch another Bleach episode before going to bed. HUZZAH!

I mean. ARRRRR MATEYS.

Pixar is amazing. Seriously. Almost every animation student I know aspires to join them.
Honestly I was shocked when Happy Feet won that award... It just felt so... flat. Wall-e doesn't come out until September, though! D: WHY?! It's still in English, they just need to ship it here and show it? WHY THE WAIT???!!! D: (Sorry, but I'm kinda irked about that.)

Pirates... mmm. Dressing up as pirates is fun. :D I do it on a regular basis.
