Ok, I have been getting a lot of questions lately on how I do my lineart, so here is a really rough tutorial!
I have no idea if this makes ANY sense whatsoever, so please give me feedback. Let me know if something is too vague or doesn't make sense or anything and Ill fix it.
This is NOT the easiest way of creating lineart. Its probably really stupid for me to cling to this method when you can get the same-ish results with vectors, but I hate vectors...lolz. Anyway...here you go! I hope this helps!
I think I do my lineart..eh..."similar" to this... So I know where you're coming from with this, and it makes sense. I might try the rotating technique again. I tried it a long time ago, but found it...too much effort XD to do indeed end up with beautiful lineart though!
Heh, thats almost exactly how I do it XD sometimes I just give up on the sketchy lines and cheat with the pen tool but it just doesn't turn out the same way. The only think I hate about this is that its so TIME CONSUMING, but isnt everything?
Much love <3

cool! i do my line art using this method! except w/out the rotation of the canvas, i've never tried that before. pretty good tut, very useful for beginners.
ooh, never thought of rotating the canvas. (I have to rotate my sketchpad to get straitish lines). This is the same way I ink, only I do resort to the vector tools just for the really long lines. I can't control them enough to do them everywhere.

It seems to be a popular method, judging by the comments. Maybe I should try it out some day. xD I just go with trial and error in line placement, myself. If the line doesn't go where I want it to, I press control Z and try again.
I might have to try rotating the canvas, though. There are some angles that are really hard to draw! xD

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
